Fredrikson’s Senior Graphic Designer, Luis R. Martinez, has been named a 2023 Unsung Legal Hero by Minnesota Lawyer.
The Unsung Legal Heroes award honors law firm employees who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes. This award is reserved for the state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals from seven categories: legal administrative assistant, paralegal or judicial clerk, administrator or office manager, librarian, accounting staff, information technology and marketing.
Martinez has been with Fredrikson for more than ten years, providing design support to the firm across departments and industries. He has been integral to developing and sustaining the firm’s brand. He co-leads brand management at the firm, and he works with a variety of internal constituents, from attorneys, practice chairs, the Marketing and Business Development team, HR, Facilities and IT, to ensure that the firm’s brand, Where Law and Business Meet, is conveyed creatively while consistently meeting our brand standards. He recently co-led the firm’s rebrand project, totaling more than twenty months of preparation, strategy and execution, culminating in the launch of the firm’s new logo and brand identity across firm facilities, as well as all print and digital communications including the firm’s new website. Martinez continues to develop post-launch brand assets. He is currently co-leading the design and implementation of a new firmwide email signature management system.
