An Investigator’s Perspective: Minneapolis’ New Labor Standards

Speaker: Abigail J. Cerra, Lead Investigator, City of Minneapolis – Department of Civil Rights

Attorney Abigail Cerra is the Lead Investigator for the recently-enacted Labor Standards for the City of Minneapolis. She will provide a brief overview of the Sick and Safe Time and Municipal Minimum Wage Ordinances. The program will discuss ways for employers to implement these new standards in their businesses, obtain technical assistance from the Civil Rights Department and respond to inquiries from employees. Following the presentation, Ms. Cerra will take questions.

Note: An application for CLE credit is pending and parking validation will be provided for attendees.
