Overview
Tessa specializes in business immigration law with extensive experience representing individuals, small to medium businesses and corporate clients.
Tessa works with employers, individuals and families in their immigration endeavors. She also works with individuals seeking naturalization, waivers and couples seeking marriage-based green cards. She strives to help her clients navigate the complex United States immigration law system.
Prior to joining Fredrikson, Tessa was an associate attorney at Feist Law & Advocacy PLLC (formerly Grell Feist PLC). Tessa obtained her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN. During law school, Tessa worked for Grell Feist PLC as a law clerk. She also worked as a certified student attorney for the Mitchell Hamline Immigration Law Clinic where she assisted clients with asylum, U visa, naturalization and removal proceedings in immigration court. She participated in the Criminal Justice Defense Externship at the Hennepin County Juvenile Justice Center. She served as the vice president and later president of the World Without Genocide Student Chapter and as a student liaison for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
