On May 16 in Des Moines, Fredrikson attorneys Bridget Penick and Emily Pontius presented a practical, employer-focused seminar on how to best address harassment with effective prevention and response strategies. In this new era of heightened awareness and media attention to sexual harassment, companies are struggling with how to implement training and other preventive measures that actually work, and how to investigate and respond to allegations when they surface. This program addressed how employers can evaluate and update their policies, practices and standards in light of the evolving social norms and expectations.
