Fredrikson attorney Mercedes McFarland Jackson was named a “40 Under 40” honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ). Each year, MSPBJ editors select 40 leaders under the age of 40 who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement while also finding time to give back to their communities.

“It is an honor to have been included in this group of such vibrant, accomplished, service-minded members of the Twin Cities community,” Jackson shared.

Jackson is an officer in Fredrikson’s Private Equity and Bank & Finance Groups, where she specializes in debt finance transactions and advises clients on compliance matters under financing and corporate governance documents. Jackson has represented corporate borrowers, private equity groups and financial institutions in connection with secured and unsecured commercial lending transactions, including acquisition financings, senior, second-lien and mezzanine financings, secured bond offerings, debt restructurings and debtor-in-possession financings.
