Fredrikson shareholder Bridget R. Penick has been elected to serve a two-year term as an Iowa State Bar Association (ISBA) delegate to the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates. The ABA House of Delegates is the policy-making body of the American Bar Association.
Penick is a leading litigator whose practice focuses on employment and labor law. She represents employers of all sizes in various state and federal courts and administrative agencies. Penick counsels employers in human resources policies and procedures, restrictive covenants, employment discrimination, FMLA, ADA, wage & hour, and labor/union relations. She also assists employers with employment-related immigration issues.
The ABA House of Delegates represents not only various groups within the association, but also the legal profession as a whole, and includes delegates from state, local and specialty bars. Through the House of Delegates, the ABA works to improve the profession by addressing issues that matter to the legal community and the law.
