The rapidly evolving novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and its impact on our communities is unprecedented. As confirmed cases grow across our region, we are updating you on our responses.
Fredrikson & Byron is open for business and we continue to work closely with clients and community partners to address the changing business and legal landscape. We are working in cross-functional teams to stay apprised of developments happening at the state and federal level, making information available and proactively assisting clients with their specific legal needs today and anticipating the questions they will be asking tomorrow.
We also have implemented our own firm-wide business continuity plans so that we can continue to serve our clients as the outbreak escalates. These plans are designed to ensure the safety of our employees and our clients and to play our part in community efforts to try to slow the spread of COVID-19.
On March 13, we implemented a firm-wide remote work program. In this 24/7 world, our attorneys and professional staff have been using technology, such as remote access to our firm systems in a secured and seamless way, for years. You can continue to reach your Fredrikson attorney by email and phone just as you did before. Our technology and systems allow us to collaborate with one another, our clients and others without disruption, while actively working to lessen transmission of COVID-19.
We are requiring vendors who access our offices to follow our onsite vendor policy regarding COVID-19.
Above all, our thoughts are with those who are impacted by COVID-19 as we all work to navigate this serious global health challenge. We will evaluate the situation daily and will make adjustments as required. Firm updates will continue to be shared on our website.
