Fredrikson & Byron has partnered with more than 125 law firms to establish the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance (LFAA).
“Fredrikson & Byron has an opportunity and responsibility to lead by example,” said Fredrikson president John Koneck. “We are prepared to take focused action and hold ourselves accountable.”
As reported by The American Lawyer, LFAA has sizable goals for progress on both individual and structural levels, ranging from pro bono and race equity partnerships and programs to advocacy for and collaboration with people and communities of color.
LFAA aims to leverage the resources of the private bar to amplify the voices of communities and individuals oppressed by racism, to better use the law as a vehicle for change that benefits communities of color and to promote racial equity in the law and in government institutions.
