Janet Dorr Elected as Secretary/Treasurer of Minnesota State Bar Association Labor and Employment Section

Shareholder Janet Dorr has been elected as Secretary/Treasurer of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s (MSBA) Labor and Employment Section. This position is the start of a three-year path to become Chair of the Section for the 2027-2028 bar year. The MSBA Labor and Employment Law Section promotes the exchange of ideas between colleagues practicing in various employment and labor areas of the law.

Dorr is a member of Fredrikson’s Labor, Employment & Benefits Group. She represents employers in cases involving employee claims of discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, hostile work environment, defamation and contract disputes. She has represented clients before administrative agencies, in state and federal courts across the country, in appeals, at jury trial, before arbitration panels and in labor grievances. Dorr also advises employers on personnel issues and policies.
