Attorney Steven F. Mikel has joined Fredrikson’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity groups. Mikel regularly advises private equity funds, their portfolio companies and strategic buyers and sellers in all stages of complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. 

Mikel has represented clients in transactions across a variety of industries, including healthcare and life sciences, financial and business services, technology and media industries. He drafts, reviews and negotiates principal transaction documents, including non-disclosure agreements, purchase agreements and accompanying disclosure schedules. He also manages deal processes, including due diligence and representation and warranty insurance workstreams. Mikel also assists clients with a range of general corporate and governance matters, including entity formation and the preparation of organizational documents and corporate resolutions.

Mikel is licensed to practice in Illinois; Minnesota license is pending.
