Steven F. Mikel

Steven is a senior associate in the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He regularly advises private equity funds, their portfolio companies and strategic buyers and sellers in all stages of complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. 

Steven has represented clients in transactions across a variety of industries, including healthcare and life sciences, financial and business services, technology and media industries. He drafts, reviews and negotiates principal transaction documents, including non-disclosure agreements, purchase agreements and accompanying disclosure schedules. He also manages deal processes, including due diligence and representation and warranty insurance workstreams. Steven also assists clients with a range of general corporate and governance matters, including entity formation and the preparation of organizational documents and corporate resolutions.

Steven is licensed to practice in Illinois; Minnesota license is pending.
