We are pleased to introduce you to ‘Our Champions,’ a series revealing the people and stories behind Fredrikson’s support of the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. Each edition spotlights a team member or group making an impact—showcasing their reasons for serving our community and applauding their efforts in Special Olympics’ Inclusion Revolution.
Meet Jenni Smith, manager of PMO at Fredrikson.
Jenni has a passion for giving back to the gymnastics community. As an official and clinician for the Minnesota State High School League, her love of the sport has only grown. This role led to her involvement with Special Olympics Minnesota–specifically the Mini Hops Gymnastics 2026 Special Olympics Invitational–where Jenni will serve as a judge for artistic gymnastics this May.
Judging allows Jenni to combine her technical experience with being part of an environment that celebrates effort, growth and perseverance. She says it is both inspiring and rewarding to see the athletes’ accomplishments, determination and joy in competition. “I am looking forward to celebrating everything these athletes have achieved!”
Jenni says events like this have a unique ability to bring people together—athletes, families and volunteers alike. As the meet approaches, she has connected with fellow gymnastics officials and colleagues who share her passion for gymnastics.
Jenni will continue her volunteerism into the 2026 USA Games in June, joining Fredrikson colleagues to help pack Opening Ceremony swag bags. Her message to athletes, families and volunteers is simple: what you’re doing matters, and even small moments can have a lasting impact.
