Overview
Brendan is a patent agent who combines a scientific background in chemistry with hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical laboratory setting to assist attorneys and agents in preparing and prosecuting patents from different fields.
Before joining Fredrikson, Brendan worked as a scientist performing laboratory preparation and analytical procedures used to measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds. His experience includes processing scientific data, supporting research initiatives, and working in highly regulated environments that require precision, accuracy and attention to detail. Brendan's background allows him to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly while helping clients maximize and defend the value of their innovations. Among other duties, Brendan drafts specifications and claims, communicates with clients and attorneys, and responds to office actions and other United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) matters. Understanding and fully protecting the client’s invention is always at the forefront of his work.
