Overview
On February 11, our Health Law Webinar covered one of the few Medicare rules that can be explained in a single sentence (if the physician expects the patient to need two nights of hospital care, they should order inpatient admission) still causing an amazing amount of confusion. This webinar explained why no Medicare patient should ever be in observation for three or more days, why Medicare Advantage plans should honor the Two Midnight Rule, why it can be appropriate to use inpatient status for a patient who is ready for discharge but requires Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) stay and no SNF beds are available and more!
An on-demand recording of the program will be available after the live webcast. Past webcasts can be viewed for free on our Health Law Webinars page.
