Overview
The Physician Payments Sunshine Act requires medical device manufacturers to report to CMS payments or other transfers of value made to physicians or teaching hospitals, as well as ownership interests that physicians or teaching hospitals hold in these entities. Beginning in July of this year, physicians and teaching hospitals will be able to review data submitted by manufacturers to CMS before this data becomes available to the public.
In this webinar, we will discuss how Sunshine Act reporting will affect physicians and hospitals, including what information will be reported and publicly available, what steps physicians and hospitals should take to ensure accurate reporting, and we will describe how physicians and hospitals can challenge false or misleading information reported by manufacturers.
