Overview

Qui Tam cases are a source of constant worry in the health care world. While you can’t do anything to guarantee that you won’t face one, there are many steps you can take to lower the likelihood you will face a claim, and to be better prepared to defend yourself if you do.

This 90-minute webinar will look at a real-world complaint alleging improper billing by, and compensation to, a physician and offer strategies for how you should investigate allegations, including the pros and cons of using attorney client privilege. It will also offer a number of very practical tips for investigations and how you can increase the odds that your colleagues are allies, rather than critics, during any investigation.

An on-demand recording of the program will be available after the live webcast. Past webcasts can be viewed for free on our Health Law Webinars page.

Continuing Education

We have applied for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for this program in Iowa and Minnesota. This education activity has been submitted to the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® and is currently pending their review for approval of CCB CEUs.
