Fredrikson shareholder Devin Driscoll has been elected as chair of the Appellate Practice Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) for a one-year term, effective July 1, 2026. The MSBA Appellate Practice Section helps educate appellate practitioners, offering opportunities for those practitioners to connect with the bench, and providing pro bono training and opportunities in the appellate arena.

Driscoll is a litigator and appellate lawyer with a practice at the intersection of business, environmental, eminent domain and other property disputes. He represents clients in enforcement proceedings brought by state and federal regulators. He also advises a wide range of industrial, energy and commercial clients regarding environmental liability issues. Driscoll handles eminent-domain matters for both landowners and utilities. And he works with developers and commercial real-estate clients on a wide variety of property litigation. Driscoll is an active appellate litigator, appearing before the Minnesota Supreme Court, Minnesota Court of Appeals and United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He also serves on the board of the Minnesota Supreme Court Historical Society and clerked for Associate Justice David L. Lillehaug of the Minnesota Supreme Court.
