Attorney Mac Schneider has joined Fredrikson as an officer in its Litigation Group. Schneider brings experience as United States Attorney for the District of North Dakota and a history of litigating complex class action, civil rights and administrative law cases to his work on behalf of clients facing business disputes and compliance issues.

Schneider has successfully represented clients in numerous civil actions against the federal government and Fortune 500 companies. As U.S. Attorney, he oversaw parallel civil and criminal proceedings and personally represented the United States at trial and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He has civil jury trial experience in North Dakota and Minnesota state courts and has represented clients on appeal to the North Dakota Supreme Court and Minnesota Supreme Court.
While working as an attorney in private practice, Schneider also represented Grand Forks’ District 42 in the North Dakota Senate from 2008 to 2016. His passion for service, public policy and solving complex problems helps him effectively represent clients’ best interests and deliver results.
