Fredrikson Expands Mergers & Acquisition Group with Three Attorneys

Fredrikson announces the expansion of its Mergers & Acquisitions Group with the addition of three attorneys in Minneapolis, including associate Jake Heck, senior associate Dan Lenhardt and returning associate Mitchell Stauch.

Heck is a results-driven attorney who believes curiosity and adaptability are choices. He uses his passion, creativity and attention to detail to solve problems and develop lasting client relationships. Heck has experience representing buyers and sellers in transactions ranging in size, structure and across a variety of industries. He helps advise clients on potential risks and mitigations strategies through all stages of the transaction by conducting due diligence, preparing diligence memoranda and negotiating and drafting ancillary transaction documents. He also advises clients about legal issues encountered throughout their life cycles, including corporate structuring and entity formation, corporate governance, contract negotiation, capital raising and general business matters.

Lenhardt provides private equity funds, venture funds and their portfolio companies, and other strategic or financial buyers and sellers with strategic and effective counsel on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and sales, investments and general corporate matters. Lenhardt supports clients’ business and transactional needs in a practical and cost-effective manner. He understands the intersection between business goals and legal objectives, and he seeks to bring a solutions-oriented mindset to his work with clients. Lenhardt also has a dedicated passion for pro bono work, most notably with his representation of individuals and families seeking asylum and start-ups on a variety of business needs.
