Amelia focuses her practice on advising clients in complex transactions involving regulated industries and real property assets.
Amelia leverages a deep background in environmental, land use, zoning and regulatory matters to guide clients through the risks and opportunities inherent in complex transactions. She is experienced in guiding developers, municipalities, energy companies and government agencies on compliance with federal, state and local regulations, including environmental review processes and permitting requirements.
Amelia has extensive experience conducting environmental due diligence in real estate transactions, helping clients identify and mitigate potential liabilities. She is also experienced in a broad range of land use and real estate-related litigation, including quiet title actions, easement disputes and challenges to governmental decisions involving land use, enforcement and permitting, as well as administrative proceedings related to land use and permitting approvals.
In addition, Amelia represented clients in regulatory enforcement matters and provided strategic counsel on risk mitigation and legislative and regulatory developments; this experience informs her approach when advising clients in a transactional context.
Amelia is licensed to practice in New York; Minnesota license is pending.
