Ayesha Mitha

Ayesha advises employers on a wide range of employment law matters, helping clients navigate complex legal issues with practical, business-focused solutions.

Ayesha represents employers in a wide variety of litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. Her experience spans claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other employment-related disputes. She also assists clients in responding to agency charges and investigations, including matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state civil rights agencies.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ayesha counsels employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. She has particular experience advising on affirmative action compliance and supporting federal and state contractors in meeting their regulatory obligations. Ayesha helps clients navigate audits, reporting requirements, and evolving regulatory expectations in this area.

Ayesha regularly partners with employers to develop and implement effective workplace policies and procedures. She drafts and reviews employee handbooks, policies, and employment-related agreements, ensuring they are legally compliant and aligned with each organization’s business needs. Her proactive, solutions-oriented approach helps clients mitigate risk and maintain productive workplaces.
