Overview

As a senior associate in Fredrikson’s Litigation Group, Jessi represents a wide range of clients in business matters including a variety of tax disputes and controversies.

Jessi provides effective, high-quality solutions for clients in a variety of complex and general and tax litigation matters. She is also a member of Fredrikson’s Investment Management team, where she routinely addresses matters related to breach of contract and shareholder disputes. Jessi returned to Fredrikson after working at the IRS Chief Counsel’s office as a member of the Litigation and Advisory team, serving on federal tax cases including fraud, syndicated conservation easement and strategic litigation cases.

  • Obtained multiple successful outcomes at trial with varying levels of responsibility, including first chair at a bench trial and serving as second chair in a federal jury trial.
  • Served on federal tax cases, including fraud, syndicated conservation easement and strategic litigation cases, as a member of the IRS Chief Counsel’s legal staff.
  • Defended depositions relating to civil contractual and labor disputes.
  • Successful motion practice, including victorious dispositive and discovery motions in complex matters.
  • Represented pro bono clients in successful post-conviction commutation application and other clients in successful immigration proceedings.
