Health Law Webinar—The Annual Regulatory Update (hopefully the substance will be better than the title!)
Date: Wednesday, December 9, 2020
Time: 10-11 a.m. PT • 11 a.m.-12 p.m. MT • 12-1 p.m. CT • 1-2 p.m. ET
Hosted By: Fredrikson & Byron’s Health Law Group
Presenters: Marguerite Ahmann, David Glaser, Andrew Holm, Katie Ilten and Pari McGarraugh
During each December Health Law Webinar, members of our Health Law team discuss the Medicare physician fee schedule, inpatient prospective payment rule and the other new regulations affecting hospitals, clinics and others in the healthcare industry. This year’s program will include some discussion about COVID-19 and a review of several interesting cases.
During the Public Health Emergency (PHE), legal research is both different and more complicated than normal. We will open the webinar with a discussion about steps you can take to increase the probability that your research is successful, including an explanation of why the Medicare Manuals are even less useful during the PHE than they normally are.
We have applied for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for this program in Iowa and Minnesota. Please contact Greta Larson at email@example.com if you are an attorney licensed in another state and would like information about obtaining CLE accreditation.
We have also applied for Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) credits through the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® and our application is currently pending their review for approval.
Live webcast participants will receive an email upon program approval for CLE and HCCA credits. This email may come up to 3-4 weeks after the live program.
This webcast is held using ON24. Read more about the minimum system requirements here.
