Fredrikson has elected seven new shareholders: Megan A. Bowman, Rachel L. Dougherty, Devin T. Driscoll, Christian V. Hokans, Olivia N. Norwood, Aaron C. Nyquist and David B. Tibbals.

Megan A. Bowman works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Technology & Data group. As both a Certified Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Bowman is a sought-after authority and resource on data protection and emerging technologies laws. She provides clients that are developing, deploying or using technology services, including artificial intelligence systems, smart and business-centered advice on their compliance and risk mitigation strategies.

Rachel L. Dougherty works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Litigation, White Collar & Regulatory Defense, Health Care Fraud & Compliance, Insurance Coverage Litigation and Real Estate Litigation groups. Dougherty represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of commercial and regulatory disputes, including healthcare litigation, insurance coverage litigation and commercial leasing disputes. Her adaptability and resourcefulness allow her to develop winning litigation strategies in federal, state, and administrative courts and to deliver practical and tailored legal advice at every stage of her clients’ cases.

Devin T. Driscoll works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Appellate, Condemnation & Eminent Domain, Environmental Law and Litigation groups. Driscoll is a litigator and appellate lawyer with a practice at the intersection of business, environmental, eminent domain and other property disputes. He represents clients in enforcement proceedings brought by state and federal regulators. He also advises a wide range of industrial, energy and commercial clients regarding environmental liability issues. Driscoll handles eminent-domain matters for both landowners and utilities. And he works with developers and commercial real-estate clients on a wide variety of property litigation.

Christian V. Hokans works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Real Estate & Construction, Real Estate Litigation and Litigation groups. Hokans represents clients in all stages of complex commercial litigation from motion practice to trial, primarily focusing on real estate disputes. He has experience in both state and federal courts around the country and works with individual clients and businesses of all sizes to provide a tailored approach to each case.

Olivia N. Norwood works in the Des Moines office and is a member of the Employment, Labor & Benefits, Employment & Labor Litigation, Litigation and Non-Competes groups. Norwood represents employers in all stages of litigation, including state and federal court and administrative proceedings, in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract and other business disputes. She also advises employers of all sizes on a variety of day-to-day employment and business issues, including accommodations, leaves of absence, hiring and terminations, employment policies and procedures, restrictive covenants and other contract issues.

Aaron C. Nyquist works in the Minneapolis office and is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Cross-Border Mergers & Acquisitions, International and Private Equity groups. Nyquist is a corporate attorney who leverages over a decade of global experience to help his clients solve multi-jurisdictional legal questions and close complex transactions around the world. He focuses his practice on international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and international business transactions.

David B. Tibbals works in the Fargo office and is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions, Business & Tax Planning, Tax Disputes & Litigation, Commercial Law and Family & Closely Held Businesses groups. Tibbals advises businesses and nonprofit organizations in transactional and outside general counsel matters, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private offering and state blue sky securities matters, corporate law and commercial contracts. He has also worked with both publicly- and privately-held companies, particularly within the retail, technology, financial and healthcare industries, in navigating state tax planning and controversy matters.
